Hire Catering in NJ For Your Fall Event and Enjoy it So Much More!

Are you planning a fall event and hire catering in NJ? Hiring catering from your local Italian restaurant is an excellent way to get everyone fed without leaving anyone stuck in the kitchen. In fact, we’re confident that you’ll enjoy your fall event even more when you hire a Grill Master to join at your next Labor Day event, Fall Festival, Football party, or Halloween party—and everything in-between! Here’s what you can expect when you hire a chef to cook at your next event!

The Setup for Catering from Iachetti’s

Sure, we can deliver delicious food that’s ready for you and your guests to eat, but don’t you want a next-level catering experience? When you hire our Grill Master, you get a uniformed chef to cook at your event. We bring the grill, propane, and all the accessories, plus your selection of delicious grill food! We can include a variety of catering stations, including our grill, a mozzarella cheese station, South American Street Food Station, a Taste of Greece, and so much more! Choose one or all—and don’t forget the drinks! Soft drinks or bartender services are available, as well as a server.

Sample Catering Options From Our Italian Restaurant

Now that you’ve got the pampered services in mind, what will you eat at your catered event? That might include Angus beef sliders with bacon onion jam, our house-made sausage with roasted peppers and sweet onions, grilled cauliflower steaks with sundried tomato pesto, and fresh, hot bread. For something lighter, our guests love fresh watermelon wedges, heirloom tomato salad, and our organic baby greens salad. You might bring Dr. Pepper baby back ribs to your event, or espresso rubbed rib steaks with crispy summer onions. And this is just our standard menu! Our additional barbeque and catering packages offer even more of our signature dishes from our brick oven kitchen in Glen Rock.

Your Duties During A Catered Meal From Iachetti’s Restaurant

While we handle all of the above, you can just sit back… relax… and enjoy!
Don’t miss out on the fun at your next fall event—call Iachetti’s to cater events in Glen Rock, or bring a Grill Master chef to BBQ!

These Popular Dishes From Your Favorite Italian Restaurant Have An Interesting History

These Popular Dishes From Your Favorite Italian Restaurant Have An Interesting History

If you’ve visited an Italian restaurant in Glen Rock lately, you’ve probably noticed some pretty standard offerings on the menu. After all, most Italian restaurants have plenty of pasta, cheese, and breads—but what makes these classic dishes so classic, and where did they come from, anyway? Here are a few popular dishes from Iachetti’s Brick Oven with an interesting history.

The First Pastas Didn’t Have Tomato Sauce! Meet Pasta al Pomodoro

If you asked most people in the United States to describe “Italian food,” many would reply with something along the lines of “pasta,” “spaghetti,” “noodles and red sauce.” But did you know that tomatoes were considered ornamental plants in Italy until the 1800s? Before that, sauces were cheese-based, or pasta was topped with oil. Pasta al pomodoro first burst onto the scene in 1837, quickly spreading in popularity throughout Italy. When immigrants moved to the Americas, they brought this tasty dish with them!

The Unclear History of Meatballs in NJ’s Italian Restaurants

Meatballs are the quintessential Italian food… except they didn’t start in Italy! In fact, meatballs are an ancient food, dating back to ancient Greece and Persia. Much like today’s meatballs, the meatballs of old combined meat with some sort of grain—most often, rice or lentils. How did they become such a staple of Italian food? We don’t know, but we’re glad they did. Otherwise, our parmesan-crusted meatballs would never exist!

Historic Restaurants Put Romesco Sauce on Fish

If you’re a regular diner at fine Italian restaurants, you will often see romesco steak on the menu—at Iachetti’s Brick Oven in Glen Rock, our guests love our Romesco Sliced Steak! But back when this sauce was first invented, it was to go on fish—and it came from Catalonia, a region in Spain. Fortunately for those who love this tomato and pepper-based sauce, it’s delicious on everything from fish and meat to breads of all sorts.

Next time you’re craving Italian food in New Jersey, stop by Iachetti’s Kitchen in Glen Rock for traditional Italian favorites and new twists on the best food.

Start Planning Your Catering Orders Now For Fall Holidays

Start Planning Your Catering Orders Now For Fall Holidays

When should you start planning your catering orders for the fall holidays? Italian restaurants in NJ are busier than ever planning catering for back to school, Halloween, fall sports, and Thanksgiving. Should you make reservations now, or will you be stuck with a potluck? Here’s why it pays to plan your catering order in advance!

Catering Availability in NJ is Limited—Schedule Now

The number one reason why you should schedule catering services in NJ in advance is because you may miss your opportunity if there are no caterers available to make your food. While there are plenty of restaurants in New Jersey that offer catering, these tend to book up pretty fast, especially here in Glen Rock. Catering from the best businesses can be easier to find when you schedule in advance, so you can reserve that popular date before anyone else gets to it.

Plan Your Holiday Catering in Glen Rock and Reduce Stress

Even if there were infinite caterers in NJ waiting to take your call, you will likely enjoy the benefits of getting your catering plans set early. Imagine planning your Thanksgiving day catering now, in September! You’re months ahead, but that frees up the next few months for managing the back to school season, scheduling travel, or handling house projects… all the while, your catering plans are safely made!

Leave Time to Plan the Rest of Your Holiday Gathering

Here’s a common problem people face with household parties: There’s never enough time! You can’t order “extra time” with your catering order, but having it arranged well in advance gives you extra time to plan. If you’re planning a theme party, you can use the time you saved from hiring catering to create DIY decorations, make that special family dessert that grandma taught you how to make, or write out thank-you cards.

The fall holidays are just around the corner, and you definitely want to be ready for them. Start planning for food today when you call Iachetti’s Kitchen to schedule catering in NJ!
